Brandy Ackland, Co-Executive Director of Affirming Heart Victim Services and Clinical Coordinator for Rise Up Counseling, will share insights on trauma-informed care, what it takes to become a mental health clinician, and the critical services offered to survivors of abuse and violence. Charay Dunn, Shelter Manager of Foundry Home Youth Shelter, will speak on supporting homeless teens with compassion, building trust through consistency, and how youth and community members alike can be part of the solution. Learn how you can advocate, serve, and truly be the difference—including opportunities to participate in a Youth Advisory Committee helping shape the future of care for at-risk teens.
